Jean-Martin DUTOUR took over the property of Domaine du Roncée in Panzoult in 1993. The dovecot of the 17th century remains the only monument of the Castle of Roncée, former fief during the French Revolution. On our label, we put Lord of Roncée's coat of arms dating back to 1779.
Nowadays Domaine du Roncée spreads over 60 hectares. In order to catch maximum sunlight and achieve the best ripeness of the grapes, we have decided to put grass in the whole vineyard, to learn how disbudding, removing leaves and training the vines higher.
The vintage Domaine du Roncée is a crisp and fruity wine made from a harmonious selection of gravels terroirs (old alluvial deposit of the Vienne River)
